Couples Ministry: Here at Prevailing Word Church we call the couples ministry "Couples: Time-Out". This ministry focuses on strengthening the husband and wife bond, by taking time out of their busy schedules to just enjoy one another. This enhances the family unit as a whole.
Singles Ministry: This ministry focuses on the singles (significant singles). We realize that God loves the single person also and has a plan and a purpose for their lives. Whether you are single by choice, divorced, or widowed, there is a place for you in the single's ministry.
Youth Ministry: This ministry is called "On Point Youth Ministry" (OPYM) and focuses on our youth for today. We try to instill in the youth that God cares about them and has a bright future for them.They have great potential, which is unproven ability. Youth activities includes bowling, fishing trips, amusement parks, teen movie nights, and yearly Student Appreciation Recognition program.
Children Ministry: This is called Children's Church where the children are given a solid foundation of good Christian character. This is done through the Word, animated teaching, along with fun and games in a safe loving and caring environment. The children are included in the yearly Student Appreciation Recognition program as well. They are encouraged to continue to always put forth their best effort.
Men Ministry: This ministry is known as the Master's Mighty Men. The men of PWCI come together through fellowship and promote unity among the men through various events and activities. This develops a greater sense of responsibility to God and family. They also mentor the younger male generation in teaching them to grow up to be Godly men.
Women Ministry: This ministry is designed to promote unity and close fellowship among the women. There are various activities planned that cultivates this unity and fellowship. Bonding is done through retreats, shopping trips and mentoring young ladies. We want women to understand their important and crucial role that they play in today's society. Their tasks are tremendous, and we teach them that with God on their side, they can be an overcomer as a Godly woman.
